Abstract

The author conveys his concerns on myths about researching vulnerable populations that include the homeless, people with learning disabilities, and the bereaved. Topics mentioned include the reluctance of most ethics committees to sanction research studies that include the bereaved, the Nuremberg code in 1947, and the European General Data Protection Regulation policy that came into effect in May 2018.
