Abstract

The aim of this Participant Idea Exchange is to explore issues with the students’ transitions to university specifically with regard to psychology students and drawing comparisons between the US and the UK. The number of years needed to complete a degree in psychology (4 years in the US, 3 years in the UK) may be factor related to the students’ transitions, their preparedness for learning, and have implications for international exchanges between universities. Participants are invited to discuss their experiences and share ideas regarding psychology students’ transitions to college.
