Abstract

The article discusses the British government's commitment to palliative care which states it has seven actions, as launched by Under Secrtary of State for Care Quality Ben Gummer, that it will take to support its commitment but only two are discussed by the author. The first action is develop personalized care and how they can be effective at local level. The second action discussed is have the right people with the right knowledge and skills by preparing, educating and equipping them.
