Abstract

En Vivo Leadership (Murray, 2006) was created to delineate what happens to the protagonist 'during' leadership. Variables within the cognition of the time phase of leadership are identified through the application of the en vivo methodology:- long, medium and short prestart conditions before leadership begins at 'start'.

In this presentation an applied approach to the advancement of leadership cognition is shared. Framed by the en vivo leadership schematic ©, a time-phased approach to capturing what may occur during leadership is depicted. Dominant patterns emerge using a range of established administered development interventions to frame the emergent experiences.
